Aiken
Tree removal, trimming, stump grinding and weekly lawn maintenance across Aiken, from the downtown historic district out to Woodside and Cedar Creek.
Aiken is where most of our week happens. The older streets around the historic district are lined with water oaks and willow oaks planted close to houses a long time ago, and a lot of our tree work here is about managing trees that have outgrown the spot they were put in: crown raising off slate and metal roofs, deadwood out of oaks that have been shedding limbs, and sectional removals where there is no room to drop anything.
Out toward Woodside, Cedar Creek and Houndslake the lots are bigger and the problem is usually pines. Loblollies here grow tall and narrow, and after a wet spring a leaning one near a house is not something to watch and wait on. We rig those down in sections rather than felling them across a yard full of irrigation heads.
Our lawn maintenance route covers Aiken every week of the growing season. Same crew, same day, cut heights set for the bermuda, zoysia and centipede that dominate yards here, and drives blown clean before we leave.
